Founder’s Office

I joined Wherehouse to run operations in Bangalore.

The founders were in Gurgaon, so I used to join the daily meeting early and usually stayed till the end. Then I’d keep asking questions about things that had nothing to do with Bangalore.

Why was finance doing this? Why were we still doing that? Why are operations processing warehouse orders? Why isn’t inventory closing?

I had been there for about two weeks when I told Vaibhav I thought he was under-utilising me.

A slightly strange thing to tell your founder after two weeks.

I didn’t really have a plan for what I wanted to do instead. I just wanted more things to figure out.

A few months later I was spending time in Gurgaon. Then I was in the Founder’s Office.
