Thinking

Notes that explain how I think. Not polished — working files.

Companies I Study

Not companies I admire. Companies I keep noticing, for one specific reason each.

Ditto Insurance

No spam call. No sales pitch after you ask a question. Every other insurance platform in India treats your phone number as the product. Ditto gives you the answer and leaves.

Zerodha

The nudge you almost don’t notice. The permission it doesn’t ask for, that every other finance app asks for by default. Restraint, not features, is the differentiator.

Urban Company

Made “professional” an achievable standard for a market that never had one. The service isn’t the innovation. The consistency is.

Zomato

Publishes what didn’t work as openly as what did. Quarterly reports read like a notebook, not a highlight reel. Tries a hundred things, kills most of them fast, says so out loud.

Airbnb

A clean listing page with no ads in it. Every incentive points toward selling you placement. They didn’t take it.
